After over 8-month job hunting, in May 2022, I accepted the offer from RMI Beijing office, an non-profit organization in the field of climate change / energy transition. My job is to support China’s transformation to a market-based and carbon-neutral power sector. So excited to start my first job!
#Commencement# I received my bachelor degree in Alternative Energy Science and Engineering with the honour of Outstanding Graduate in June, 2019. Five years in Shanghai Jiao Tong University -- Key words: peer pressure, broaden horizons, life learning, personal calling.
#Commencement# With a special covid setting in Aug. 2022, I virtually received my master degree in Complex System Engineering and Management (Energy & Industry Track) from Delft University of Technology. One sentence to conclude two years in the Netherlands: “Uncertainty is the Only Certainty”.
From Aug. 2017 to Jun. 2018, I took a gap year to be an exchange student at Technical University of Denmark. I learned energy system modeling for the first time, explored markets, economics and policies around energy transition, finished a real-life distric heating project with Sweco, and of course, traveld to 10+ countries in Europe. It was an memorable and meaningful journey for my future study and career.
